Electronic controls, an external thermometer and an audible alarm are standard, as is a lock. No interior lighting is provided. Manual defrosting. VLT and VT "IB" freezers also provide some protection against power outages, as they will protect the contents against thawing for many hours, depending on the ambient temperature.
