SUMMIT ACCUCOLDtm VLT and VT series freezers with the "IB" (ice-bank) suffix are unique low-temperature freezers with two ice-banks of non-toxic 'blue' ice to provide a stable temperature environment for laboratory, scientific and certain food service customers. Electronic controls, an external thermometer and an audible alarm are standard, as is a lock. No interior lighting is provided. Manual defrosting. VLT and VT "IB" freezers also provide some protection against power outages, as they will protect the contents against thawing for many hours, depending on the ambient temperature. Available in 4 sizes of chest freezer, and one upright freezer.

Return policy:

Damaged items: If your purchase arrives damaged please REFUSE it. Please do not sign for the unit without fully inspecting it, which will mean having the driver wait while you unpackaged the unit. If they cannot wait DO NOT sign the form. If the unit has concealed damage please notify us within 2 business days of receipt & Summit will have the original unit picked up & a replacement shipped out.

Defective items: If the unit appears to be defective please call Summit Service Dept. at   1-800-287-8799 within one week of delivery to troubleshoot the issue. If the unit cannot be troubleshot over the phone Summit requires that a servicer come to the customer's location to test the unit. If it is, in fact, defective we will arrange an exchange at no cost to the customer.

Buyer's remorse return: This item cannot be returned for a refund unless it arrives defective & cannot be repaired, as per the information noted above.
