In the past I purchased another fridge in the $200 - $300 range. I built it in between cabinets and under a counter top. It would not keep the beverages even close to cold. So I did some research and this is a common problem for lower end "built-in" units because they are not ventilated properly. So I started looking for one that was ready for the job only to find most of those were on the $1200 - $2000 range. Then I found this unit, good reviews and a reasonable price. I put it in its place, which is very tight, about 3/16 clearance per side. I set the unit on a temperature setting of 4 out of 5 and loaded it with beer. When I came back a few hours later everything was ICE cold. So cold in fact that two bottles of beer on the top shelf popped their tops. I backed the setting down to 3 and I have enjoyed cold beverages ever since. Not only does it do a great job but you can barely tell the thing is running. Once in a while you get more than you expect and it is refreshing!
