The VT225 is a commercially approved chest freezer with 21.5 cu.ft. of storage capacity. Designed for optimum temperature performance, it can safely hold vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and even frozen foods under stable conditions with manual defrost operation. A digital thermostat includes easy electronic controls for precise temperature management and a battery-powered thermometer is installed to provide the most accurate temperature readout. The thermometer includes an audible alarm to warn of any high or low variations in temperature.

Corner protectors help to protect the unit’s exterior from bumps or dents and counterbalanced hinges provide an easy lift on the lid. A front lock is included for added security.

Return policy:

Damaged items: If your purchase arrives damaged please REFUSE it. Please do not sign for the unit without fully inspecting it, which will mean having the driver wait while you unpackaged the unit. If they cannot wait DO NOT sign the form. If the unit has concealed damage please notify us within 2 business days of receipt & Summit will have the original unit picked up & a replacement shipped out.

Defective items: If the unit appears to be defective please call Summit Service Dept. at   1-800-287-8799 within one week of delivery to troubleshoot the issue. If the unit cannot be troubleshot over the phone Summit requires that a servicer come to the customer's location to test the unit. If it is, in fact, defective we will arrange an exchange at no cost to the customer.

Buyer's remorse return: This item cannot be returned for a refund unless it arrives defective & cannot be repaired, as per the information noted above.
