The Sharp Built-in Ready Microwave Drawer Oven 24 inch, in Stainless Steel is part of Sharp's KB-6524P series. It is a new addition to Sharp's line-up of Microwave Drawer appliances. The design is new, inside and out. The interior is larger with 1.2 cu. ft. capacity. It is tall enough to hold your favorite mug or a 20 oz. cup from your favorite coffee shop. The new contemporary look has an open towel bar handle and concealed louvers, it has a quality look and feel. To make planning and installation easier, the outside dimensions remain the same, even with all these changes.

With Sharp's exclusive Easy Open system you just pull or push the Microwave Drawer handle and it activates the motor to open or close the drawer automatically. One-finger operation Open and Close buttons are also available for even easier access. The cavity is more accessible because of the smaller, lower drawer slides so it's easier to clean. Also, there’s no need to remove the dish from the oven to check, stir, or turn the food.

Sharp is always looking at where you place your microwave ovens and how you use them. Their research with Microwave Drawer owners, led to expanded Short Cut options to include "Warm" for heating syrup for pancakes and dessert sauce for ice cream. A new "Beverage Center" warms coffee or heats water for hot tea or instant coffee or soup. Sensor Cook® settings and defrost options have been expand.
