This is a great portable. It has a high EER rating for energy savings, easy to read digital temps. Window kit is flimsy but I made my own using some of the thick styrofoam it was packed with! Really cools my room quickly, no noisier than a window unit and looks sleek. Came very quickly from east coast warehouse- arrived a day earlier than expected. Best of all, it was priced great!

I purchased the wrong size unit and was unable to return it without the complete packaging. Although the customer service staff was nice, this is a tough policy. I would have gladly paid a restocking fee. So, keep your boxes if you order from this site!

 

I bought this for my mother last year in June when she became ill. It gets hot here and it definitely cools the room. It's big, and the window set-up is not ideal (I wound up taping the foam to the window), but I plan on purchasing one for my brother for his birthday this year.
