Excellent Vacuum Sealer
May 15, 2013
Reviewer: Larry West from Fort Myers, FL United States
The Vacmaster 215C is a great vacuum sealer you can even seal soup, marinara sauce, or anything else you want as long as it fits into the chamber. If you can afford this sealer it is well worth the price.

Great machine and even better customer service
May 15, 2013
Reviewer: Jim B. Spanaway, WA from spanaway, WA United States
I have owned this machine going on two years now. When I first bought it, I did not unpack or use it right away. When I did set it up, I discovered a broken oil/water separation filter. I contacted Quality Matters via email and had a response in 45mins. I sent a picture and part number of the part and the next day Quality Matters called me to confirm everything. Two days later a FedEx package arrived for me. Inside was the new filter. This all happened AFTER the initial warranty was expired. And cost me nothing.
I have packed two elk, half a dozen deer and countless fish along with several hundreds pounds of store bought meats with no problems. The sample pack of bags that come with the machine is great for seeing what size you use most. Thank you Quality Matters for a great price, service, and selection. Jim

Definitely worth the extra few bucks vs. the VP210

Very nice machine. For a pretty marginal cost difference, the important and maybe-important reasons to get the VP215C:
#1: Stronger vacuum, so there's less air left in your packaging.
#2: Quieter by almost 10dBa
#3: Longer pump life

VacMaster 215C
April 1, 2013
Reviewer: S J Cottrell from Central KY United States
Love this machine, works great, very simple and easy to use. Had 35 lbs of home cured bacon to seal & store went so quick and easy unbeliable as I had been using a non chamber type for several years. Have sealed soup, cheese, brown sugar, frozen biscuts, sliced ham items purchased in bulk. Costly but is a long term investment that will pay for itself in bulk purchasing and food quality after freezing. My wife can not wait for garden this year so I can help her with all of the freezing. Purchase was smooth as could be recieved sealer in 3 days well packed.

This machine is awesome!!!

Ive owned 3 different vacuum sealers all of which have been external sealers. This machine is awesome and I would never own any thing else. It is heavy but that goes with the territory. It just goes to say what this machine is made of.

Overall a great machine, but caveat emptor...

First off, I want to say I am very pleased with QualityMatters. But I did have one issue; I purchased an extended warranty on the sealer but was informed by CS that none of those contracts will cover chamber vac units. While they were quick to refund the price of the warranty, the extended warranty was a prime factor in purchasing that unit from this vendor.
Next, the unit arrived very well packaged. The thing truly is built like a tank! I was blown away by the VP215...for about two months. Then it completely died on me. After speaking to VM I was instructed to return the unit for repair. Then I got the bad news- while service was covered I would have to pay shipping- just over $170! To be fair, they paid return shipping and turned the repair around very quickly.
Yet I still give the machine four stars. The performance of a good chamber vac, like this one, is so superior that if mine was to break down outside of warranty I'd buy another one without question.

Vacuum Sealer

Reviewer: Richard E. Burrier from Stockholm, ME United States
Damn this bugger SUCKS... the instructions are easy to follow and it works after you put oil in the pump...had an other vacuum sealer, a food slaver, it worked but it was always a hassle to get the bags to seal or a day later to find that they weren't sealed at all...i am very pleased with this unit.

Awesome product!

Just got this yesterday and have been playing around with it. It is everything everyone says that it is. Very simple to use. Very quiet operation. It comes with everything you need to get it up and running, just add the included oil and you are ready to start. With both filler plates inserted, it looks like you can set your Vacuum time to 30 secs, at least this worked for me with the size bag I was using. I was a food saver user for over 20 years. The food saver units are OK, but limited to what they are, a "bag outside the machine vacuum". Plus very expensive buy the Food saver bags or rolls compared with the chamber Vac Master bags. The only downside to this unit is it is VERY HEAVY. It would be nice if there were some sort of carrying handle kit available for it for transporting from point "A" to "B". The Fed-X guy must have had his Wheaties! I will be looking for a "roll around" table to move this from storage area to work area in my garage. Thanks, Quality Matters!
