I would recommend the Pro-2300 to anyone. It's easy to use and does a great job. However, I would find someone else to buy it from. After placing my order online, I didn't hear anything for a week. I called Quality matters and was told they would call me back to give me a tracking #. Three days later I still hadn't heard from them. I called them again, and they told me they lost my order and would ship it out the next day. It took over two weeks, from the time I placed the order, before it was finally delivered.

Packaged 110 pounds of Bluefin tuna and we could seal them as fast as we could get them into bags. The bags 10 days later were all 100% sealed.

great gadget

Our vacuum sealer arrived promptly & packaged well. I panicked for just a moment when I saw scratches on the white surface, until I read the note that said "peel protective film before first use." Underneath was the beautiful stainless steel I was expecting. It was so simple that even my 4-year-old could assist. Only once did a bag not seal, but that was user error (I pushed the start button before pressing down on the handle. The bag didn't seal. No problem. I just used the right sequence of handle then button and the bag sealed right up!) I don't mind if there is extra room at the top of my quart-sized bags because I plan on reusing them. I'll just keep trimming the bag size down with each use until I work passed the pint size and down into snack size! I like how quiet the machine is to operate & how the exterior surfaces don't get hot. After successfully sealing steak tonight, I plan on trying strawberries tomorrow. I'm sure this machine won't disappoint.

I was on the fence in this purchase, pretty expensive. So glad I took the plunge, I've had several of the more common sealers, they aren't worth the money. Invest from the beginning, and you will not regret it.
