It is a good value, and a well built machine, Ice taste better than freezer ice, and it produces it as fast as a freezer.
However, do not forget the electricity usage. The ice storage area is not refrigerated, and ice melts rather quickly. As good of a deal as this machine is, it might cost 10 fold in power costs compared to an internal freezer based ice machine. Quality matters Co. is the only place to buy one if you do want it, they stand behind their sales and their products.
