The locking hasp is a great way to secure the contents of your freezer. It requires a normal padlock - which is not supplied. They do not interfere with the performance of your Engel - if installed properly. Locking hasp's are only sold to be installed by Engel USA. We do not recommend that customers install the hasp without proper training. This DC cord is a replacement for the DC cord supplied with all top-opening Engel fridge-freezers up to 43 Quarts in size. It also works with Engel fridge-freezer models up to 84 Quarts.
