The 8' wide DuraMate is ideal for most backyards. This shed was designed to meet the height requirements for most communities. All DuraMate Series sheds feature wide double doors. The wall columns are reinforced with a solid metal structure allowing you to hang shelves or garden tools. Foudation kits are available for these units and recommended for a quicker and precise installation.
The assemble is simple, clean, safe and can be completed in a few hours. All parts are pre-cut, drilled and numbered for ease of assembly. All you need to provide is a level surface of either wood or concrete, the size of the desired shed. In addition you will need a drill with a #1 phillips head, hammer, measuring tape, pliers and a ladder.
For best long-term results, we recommend adding the 8' x 8' DuraMate Foundation Kit. Crafted of galvanized metals, it provides a base for installing your shed, ensuring that the shed is square. The foundation also elevates your floor (plywood floor not included) off the ground. Shed and foundation kit each sold separately.
*Please note- This model will arrive in 2 boxes, one for the actual shed 8x6 & one for an extension to bring it to the 8x8 size.

Be sure that intended placement of shed is within your property lines
Measure the size of the intented shed site and make sure you have a level wooden or concrete foundation (foundation kit available)
Do not build shed over utility lines (i.e. gas, electrical, telephone, cable etc.)
