Description   Chatelle Cutting Boards are made with pride and attention to detail by Oregon Furniture Craftsmen.  These are versatile, artistic additions to your kitchen that can be used as cutting blocks, serving trays, pizza boards or even cheese platters.  Constructed from premium walnut, maple & cherry woods, these cutting boards have a unique appearance and fantastic durability.  The deluxe models also have custom, food grade stainless steel bushings, stainless steel bolts and uniquely shaped stainless handles that are certain to catch any eye. These solid American hardwoods blocks measure a full 1-1/4 inches thick and have one feature not found on most cutting boards - the superior strength of the joints between the different types of wood.  Chatelle strengthens the joints to ensure a longer lifespan.  They accomplish this through grain matching, using the highest quality non-toxic adhesives and plate "biscuit" joints used in key proportions.  They finish the boards with two coats of food grade block oil giving them a rich look that is easy to maintain. Chatelle boards are built to last! As is true with any quality wooden cutting board, it is not recommended that they be put in the dishwasher to be cleaned.   Features Easy to maintain, we send a 2 ounze bottle of the block oil with each order.
