First of all, it's one heavy piece of furniture while it's in a box...so do be careful opening it. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to put together...just make sure you actually FOLLOW the instructions and only LOOSELY tighten the screws to make sure you have all of the holes and screws lined up properly. Although you could build this by yourself, I recommend having another person help you, just to keep things lined up.
As far as function, it rocks. Solid feel, and the tempered glass is gorgeous. The only negative is that the glass (being tempered black) essentially is a dust magnet. No big deal...just wipe it down once per week with a microfiber cloth and you'll be fine.
Overall, I am very happy with the product, and the service offered by QualityMatters.com has been stellar. 5 stars for their service as well.
It's big, but it looks SHARP! Worth every penny!
