These speakers are absolutely incredible.The bass is typical cerwin-vega;tight,richly detailed and tremendously powerful when called for.The mids and highs reproduce both high impact dynamics and subtle nuances with unbelievable clarity and presence.I don't know how well the average 125 watt/channel a/v receiver would drive them,but if you have a good quality receiver/ amplifier rated at 200-300 watts/channel,you will not be disappointed.
